Muses i cretins
MUSES i CRETINS is Carreras’ first foray into the world of books.
Jan, a young and famous composer, decides to take a radical turn in his life. Decides to leave Barcelona and settles in a village in the Guilleries, thinking that he will find peace there necessary to complete the symphony he is writing. But in this population imaginary Masferran knows a string of very peculiar characters. That it will allow you to live everything from unlikely situations. And things will end up having one outcome very different from what he imagined.
The novel is presided over by humor, sometimes subtle, often histrionic. From here comedy, the author practices a very scathing social critique. Another of the traits of the book is surrealism, which permeates almost everything.
