DESCRIPTION:

This is the soundtrack of the contemporary dance show NEGRE FOSC, a production of the Esbart Terrassa, directed by Jordi Mampel. As the music received good reviews, the company decided to release it on CD, which meant the release of Enric Carreras in the record world.

The music adapts to the theme of the work: war, as a general concept, beyond any specific era or conflict. It delves into the feelings related to armed litigation: death, hatred, repression, resistance, grief, pain, revolt, bewilderment, hope, and so on.

The resulting disc is sober, circumspect and very descriptive. He constantly encourages movement, as befits a soundtrack to a dance show.

In terms of style, he moves between contemporary music, symphony, cinematic touches, Mediterranean airs and some new age touches.

The album caught the attention of HIDROGEN, a program of the national TV of Catalonia, which specializes in new musical trends. That is why a monograph was dedicated to him, of great plastic beauty, shot in the Parc de Sant Jordi in Terrassa, with the participation of musicians and dancers.
